Visiting Meta

Today was a calm day. We started the day with a visit to Meta around 10 am. Which means we could sleep in a bit. We had to wait a bit in the lobby for everyone to arrive. Yet again we had to sign in and get our name tags. After that we were guided to the meeting room where we got a presentation about Meta. We were suprised to see there were some goodies waiting for us. We got a Meta goodie bag with some cool stuff.

While we waited for the speakers, we were allowed to take a drink and a snack in their snack arrea which was really nice.

We played a Kahoot quiz and the top 3 winners scored prizes. Then, we delved into discussions about the metaverse and its potential to revolutionize everything. After that, three employees held an awesome Q&A session. And of course, we couldn't leave without snapping our group photo!

Some free time 🛍️

We had some free time, so we decided to hit the shops. We found this incredible mall that was just stunning, and of course, we couldn't resist popping into the LEGO store. By around 4 PM, we decided to stroll over to the Guinness Storehouse.

Guinness Storehouse 🍺

Around 5 PM, we arrived at the Guinness Storehouse. We were welcomed by a guide who took us on a tour of the brewery. We learned all about the brewing process and the history of Guinness.

The best part was the tasting room where we got to smell the ingredients. We got to taste a tiny Guinness, and it was so cool to see how it's made.

There were so many floors to explore, and each one had something new to discover. The view from top floor, the Gravity Bar was breathtaking, and we ended the day with a pint of Guinness in hand.

After the Guinness Storehouse we decided to go look for something to eat. We found a nice restaurant where we had a lovely dinner. We walked around the city a bit more and then we ended the day with a drink in a pub. It was a great day and we all had a lot of fun.
