Unveiling Azure's Power: Highlights from Campus Cloud Café at Howest
Last Tuesday, there was this event at the Kortrijk Weide campus called Campus Cloud Café, all about Microsoft Azure. Noest put it together, and it was a great chance to learn all about what Azure can do in real life.
First up was Klaas Lauwers, who talked about something called "Azure Durable Functions 101." He made it all sound really cool and showed us how Azure can handle big, complicated tasks without breaking a sweat.
Then, Azure MVP Toon Vanhoutte got on stage and impressed us with a live demo. He showed how Azure can handle a crazy amount of data, like 60+ million records, like it's no big deal.
The event wrapped up with Mathias Cheyns showing us some real-life examples of Azure Open AI. He made it clear how Azure's AI can actually be used in everyday situations, not just in theory. It was eye-opening to see how it can make things better for customers and businesses alike.
Campus Cloud Café at Howest wasn't just some regular event. It was like a deep dive into what makes Azure awesome. After all those talks and demos, everyone left feeling pumped and ready to try out Azure in their own projects. It's pretty clear that Azure has a ton of potential to shake things up in all kinds of industries.
